Ashley has been dancing for over 20 years now, but is new to
NEDS. Ashley enjoys teaching dancers of all levels. While experience has helped her become a great dancer, one of the most important qualities in a dancer is confidence. Ashley works with students of all ages to help them gain the
self-confidence needed to reach the next level. Her advice to dancers – if you’re unsure of a step or choreography, ask questions. There is no such thing as a silly question. The more you know, the more confident you will be. The more confident you are, the better your performance will be.
Ballet / Tap
Katarina has been dancing with Northern Explosion for over 16 years. She loves that no matter how bad her day ever is she can let it all out through dance. Her advice for the students would be follow your heart never give up. Dance enables you to find yourself and lose yourself all at the same time. "When you dance your purpose is not to get place on the floor, but to enjoy each step along the way ."
